What.If.Architect Wins Top Award at Beyond the Speckleverse Hackathon

We are thrilled to announce that What.If.Architect has won the 'Most Impressive Use of Business Intelligence' award at the Beyond the Speckleverse Hackathon.

What.If.Architect enhances communication and decision-making in structural and architectural design by re-visualizing data through geometry. This approach addresses challenges with traditional methods, providing better understanding and flexibility in design.

Built using Rhino and Karamba3D, What.If.Architect analyzes the impact of removing structural elements such as columns and visualizes these effects through Speckle, helping stakeholders make more informed decisions. Despite initial challenges in creating a dynamic loop for real-time analysis, the team developed a robust brute-force analysis method, showcasing their dedication and ingenuity.

Looking ahead, the developers plan to enhance What.If.Architect with dynamic workflows for real-time calculations and multi-disciplinary input. Stay tuned for further updates as they continue to push the boundaries of architectural and structural design.
