In Frankfurt - Preungesheim has been built a new sports complex. Part of the sports complex called “Frankfurter Bogen” is a three-pitch sports field with a two-storey functional building and a single-storey annexe building. The three-pitch sports field with functional building was partially buried into the ground.
The basement was designed as a reinforced concrete structure and the ground floor as timber structure. The lateral stability of the sports hall and the functional building is provided by the floor slabs, load-bearing walls and the roof structure.
