The Postel tower is a public building housing the offices of four departments (Economic Infrastructure, Transport, Crafts / SMEs and Posts / Telecommunications). Its structure and facade have not been renovated since it was completed in 1984.
All the tower facades belong to the ‘curtain wall’ category. They comprises transparent glazed elements placed in front of the concrete slabs and spandrels. Each glazed panel is rebated on four sides by an aluminum profile, which is attached to a vertical aluminum structure that forms the main framework of the curtain wall. The façades will be refurbished by replacing the existing glazing.
