Owendo University Hospital

Steel structures were erected as entrance canopies for the 4 different wings of the new university hospital. An access ramp was built to connect all wings and all floors from the ground to the third floor. The total length of the access ramp measures 117 m and reaches a height of 16 m. The total width of the structure is 4.5 m. B+G were assigned to develop the structural systems for these steel structures, taking into account the connections and effects to the hospital buildings as well as the design of the foundations.
