The cabin, or the Norwegian second home, was built on the island Skåtøy in Kragerø. It hides in the reefs and appears like a sculpture with its unique façade designed in wood.
The roof construction is designed as a layer of glulam joists and is supported by slender wooden columns. Together, some concrete walls maintain rigidity in the horizontal direction. The cabin is founded as a floor on the ground, with four concrete slabs at different levels. A concrete fireplace has also been designed.
