Following the acquisition of the neighbouring building in 2007, the Hotel Le Bristol Paris has expanded and now benefits from greater visibility on the corner of Avenue Matignon and Faubourg Saint Honoré. The corner building dates from the early 20th century and its Parisian ashlar façade is decorated with stone sculptures and beautiful ironwork. The "new extension" accommodates twenty-one additional rooms, five suites, and a new restaurant.
While extending the hotel, significant construction defects were discovered in the building's shell, necessitating extensive renovation, reinforcement, and repair work on the existing structure. The renovation plan also involves adapting the concrete construction in the historically preserved areas and completely renovating the roof structure.
