The three-storied building of the preschool and primary school extends the existing school building of the European School in Frankfurt. A total of 10 classrooms for the preschool and 7 classrooms for the primary school and various ancillary and common rooms are built. The building is designed as a modular timber structure. The exterior walls are cladded with corrugated sheets of aluminium. Bollinger+Grohmann were responsible for the structural design through to the design development phase.
