For the construction of the historic stadium on the Bosphorus, in the area between Taksim Square and Dolmabahçe Palace, the city authorization had specified a very low roof pitch and height development. For the special situation, a support system with a low overall height and pressure- and bending-resistant radial beams was developed. For the first time, a completely pre-assembled, rigid roof area of approx. 1000 t was raised in the hydraulic lifting installation.
