The new Munch Museum opened its doors last Friday in Oslo. estudioHerreros have realised the 26,300 m² curved building. The museum gathers the most extensive worldwide collection of the Norwegian painter Edvard Munch, whose collection was bequeathed when he died in 1944.
After the Deichman Bjørvika, this is the second project in the neighbourhood of the Opera House in the harbour of Oslo. This time, we were responsible for façade engineering.
