Every last weekend in June, the annual Day of Architecture takes place throughout Germany. On this occasion, the ‘Woven Cube’ was erected in the garden of the Architekten- und Stadtplanerkammer Hessen in Wiesbaden.
The aim of the project was to explore resource-saving buildings, resulting in spruce wood frames with woven bands made from old hotel bedding stretched between them.
‘Woven Cube’ was created as part of a course with Prof. Fuchs in the architecture program at Rhein-Main University of Hochschule RheinMain (HSRM) in cooperation with Bund Deutscher Architektinnen und Architekten, Architektenkammer Wiesbaden and B+G.
