European Championships
The sports season has officially kicked off with the European Championships in Germany. One of the key venues is The Red Bull Arena in Leipzig, better known as The Leipzig Arena during the championships.
We worked on this project with our expertise in design technologies and BIM. The multi-storey 'Extension South' is a 200-meter-long, 15-meter-high concrete structure on 500 micro-piles featuring a glass façade. Additionally, 15 bridges with spans of up to 20 meters were added to the existing entrances, and stands were converted into standing areas to increase spectator capacity. The stadium has a capacity of 50,000 visitors supporting their favourite football team!
